Sir,
I have the honour to inform you that this Government has been asked by the British Empire League (Norfolk House, Laurence Pountney Hill, London, E.C.) to guarantee a sum of £100 towards a guarantee fund to establish a Trade Mark to denote goods manufactured or produced within the British Empire. If you desire this movement of the League to receive official support, I shall be glad if you will authorise the Crown Agents to give a guarantee of £100 on behalf of this Colony.
